However, I have to push my camera far from my setup because of how much it zooms. I really want to have the bokeh effect in my streams behind me so I definitely enjoyed how it looked with the 50mm. Overall, do you think I should just use the Canon Rebel T3 with the 50mm lens to avoid risking damage to my new camera or is it okay to use my newer one? I have an old Logitech c615 but after seeing the difference I don't want to go back. I also have an 18-55 lens and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. My Rebel T3 is really old of course, and has a couple dead pixels that show up more in lower indoor lighting, but doesn't seem to be noticeable in stream.Ĩ0D works perfectly, but I worry that I will cause it to overheat or somehow mess up the censor or something. The 5D Mark IV is a pro grade camera that's very big and bulky. That 24-105 is a good lens, but it's not going to be worth upgrading to a 5D IV to use it. I have a Canon Rebel T3 and recently got a Canon 80D for photography/film purposes, but tested it out as a webcam too. A full frame camera is only useful if you also have the budget to get some lenses that take advantage of the sensor. I was just wondering what the general opinion is with using Canon DSLR's for webcams using the EOS Utility software. Thanks to /u/iTruthful and Conceptional for the art!
